MS Sans Serif Blue: America One Yellow: Prada What the Umpires saw: Incident 1 Blue gybes onto starboard clear ahead of Yellow. Yellow holds her course, establishes a leeward overlap (subject to Rule 17.1), gives Blue initial room to keep clear, and is not sailing above her proper course. Blue takes no actions to keep clear and yellow alters course to leeward to avoid Blue, possible contact between sails. Both boats displayed a "Y" flag. Incident 2 Blue gybes onto port 4-5 boat lengths from the finish line and then promptly gybes back onto starboard to windward and close to Yellow. Possible contact between sails. No "Y" flag was seen for this incident. Decisions; Incident 1 Penalise Blue, as the give way, windward boat, Blue made no attempt to keep clear and Yellow altered course to avoid Blue. Incident 2: The umpires decided that Blue had infringed Rule 10, but as there was no "Y" flag displayed at the time of the incident the Umpires took no action.?BB??B???
